Biographical sketch:

Aazam is a graduate student in the Immunology and Microbial Pathogenesis program at Weill Cornell Graduate School (WCGS). He is pursuing his thesis research in Dr. Alexander Rudensky's lab at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He is broadly interested in studying how a special subset of T cells called Regulatory T cells (Tregs) maintain immunological unresponsiveness and homeostasis in the gut. Before joining Ph.D. program at WCGS, he worked as an Associate scientist in Inflammation Research at Amgen, South San Francisco. Hailing from Ahmedabad, India, Aazam holds an undergraduate degree in Pharmacy from University of Pune, India, and a master's degree in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology from University of Southern California (USC). In his personal time, he enjoys cooking, running, and traveling.
